Scope of the Policy
This policy applies to all events and services created or requested through the Halaa Platform and forms an integral part of the agreement between the user and the platform.
Halaa Platform
This policy applies to all events and services created or requested through the Halaa Platform and forms an integral part of the agreement between the user and the platform.
The user may cancel an event and receive a full refund of the amount paid if no invitation cards have been sent and no part of the service has been used, provided that the cancellation request is submitted at least seventy-two (72) hours prior to the scheduled event date.
If the event includes a custom design request that has been executed and paid for, the cost of the design shall be deducted from the refundable amount, provided that no invitations have been sent and the cancellation request is submitted at least seventy-two (72) hours prior to the event date.
The consumed portion of a service is not refundable, including invitations already sent or credits already used. Halaa may review an unused portion for refund or balance reversal when technically possible and consistent with the payment channel and applicable law.
The user may request to postpone the event to a later date as long as invitations have not been sent, subject to technical availability and without additional fees.
If invitations have already been sent, the postponement shall be considered a new service request and may be accepted or rejected by the platform based on technical constraints.
Cancellation or refund requests shall not be accepted if submitted within the last seventy-two (72) hours prior to the event date, after the event has concluded, or after invitations have been sent.
All refunds — if applicable — shall be processed using the same payment method originally used and may take a period of time depending on the bank's or payment service provider's procedures.
The platform reserves the right to reject any cancellation or refund request if there is evidence of service usage, violation of terms, or attempted misuse of the cancellation policy.
The user's use of the Halaa Platform and creation of an event constitutes explicit acceptance of the terms of this policy and any subsequent updates thereto.
Payments made through the Halaa website are processed by the approved payment provider (Mada / credit cards) and are subject to the event and service cancellation and refund terms set out above. Purchases made inside the mobile apps are governed by the app-store terms described in the following articles.
Subscriptions purchased in-app auto-renew (monthly, quarterly, or annually) through your store account (Apple/Google) unless you cancel renewal before the end of the current period. Cancellation stops the next renewal while access continues until the end of the paid period; it does not automatically create a prorated refund. Apple or Google handles refund requests for store purchases under its policies, and Halaa has no direct refund authority over them. Web subscriptions, if offered, are reviewed according to usage, the payment provider, and applicable law.
Consumable items such as event packages and extra invites are added to your balance at purchase and are used up as you consume them; they are not restorable via "Restore Purchases" once consumed. Consumed invitations or credits are not refundable. If the payment provider or store approves a refund of an unconsumed balance, only the unused portion is reversed and the balance is never reduced below what was already consumed.
Custom design and business-customization requests are managed services whose fulfillment starts when the work request is created and sent for administrative processing or assigned to a specialist. Work already performed and design or provisioning costs already begun are not refundable. If work has not started, Halaa cannot provide the service, a duplicate charge occurs, or a verified technical error prevents fulfillment, the case is manually reviewed for an appropriate refund according to fulfillment state, payment channel, and applicable law.
If the store (Apple/Google) forces a refund for a purchase, the access or benefits tied to that purchase may be revoked according to its type. Purchases and subscriptions remain tied to the original store account and your original Halaa user ID and are not automatically transferred between accounts; exceptional cases are handled manually through support.
Prices and applicable taxes (Saudi Value Added Tax at 15%) are shown by the relevant store or payment provider at purchase. For billing or refund inquiries contact support@halaa.com.sa or +966 55 261 9282. Nothing in this policy limits mandatory rights available under applicable law.
